The founder of Wind Power Services LLC has presented wind energy seminars to hundreds of Michiganders; “Introduction to Wind” is a great learning opportunity for the beginner windmill enthusiast and home or business owner who may be considering a wind system. A knowledgeable speaker will come to your gathering place and present the basics of wind energy along with slides to increase understanding. The seminar agenda can be suited to your group’s specific topic of interest.

A seminar can consist of topics such as:
• The history of windmills • Large scale progress & development • Michigan Progress & development • Michigan wind resource maps • Wind project types • Building a wind farm • Residential wind systems	• Wind farm land leases • How a wind turbine works • Zoning and permitting • Site assessment • Community wind projects • Tower types • Turbine design & considerations

All seminars encourage open discussion with questions and answers. Informational handouts are provided. Workshops in small wind systems and Tower climbing safety are available. Workshops are best suited as an all day event. An “Introduction to Wind” seminar will usually last about 2 to 3 hours covering the basics of wind energy. This is a great opportunity to gather your neighbors, or your community, and learn more about Wind Energy. We are prepared to speak in the gathering place of your choice such as: Your home, organization’s regular meeting place, or local community center.
