 Tammy has successfully completed certificate courses in:
• Tower Construction
• Tower Climbing Safety & Rescue
• Wind Turbine design and Considerations
• Wind Systems Repair & Maintenance
• Wind Site assessor Training
Current courses will lead to certification in small wind system's site assessment. With only one person currently certified in Michigan Tammy hopes to be the second in the state and the first in the Lower Peninsula.
| With a combined 55 years business experience owning and operating a trucking company the Stoner's bought a parcel of property to establish an office for Wind Power Services LLC. We will be located on M-115 in Osceola county 12 miles South East of Cadillac. Construction is scheduled to start in the summer of 2008. |
In this same area the Stoner’s are currently measuring wind speeds on a 100 foot tower they erected in January of 2007. Their goal of energy independence will be reached by building a passive solar home using wind and solar to meet their energy needs.
